The computer is designed to shut suddenly as a failsafe in the event that the temperature of
the CPU is higher than the threshold allowed.  This temperature can be modified in the bios
but doing so will just allow the CPU to cook and after some time the processor will need to be
replaced.

There are a few causes for overheating, one if which is the cooling fans motor failing which
stops the airflow to the heatsink, which is a copper part which conducts and removes the heat,
thus cooling the processor and integrated graphic chip.

Another possibility is that dust has clogged up the airflow ventilation or that the thermal
compound which transfers the heat to the heatsink, has itself dried up and needs to be
